Why Mobile Apps Are Critical to First Year Success

Student retention is a major concern for colleges and universities of all sizes and geographies. First year connections and networks play a large role in how a college career unfolds, and studies have shown that more involved and engaged students tend to exhibit more successful outcomes.

OOHLALA conducted surveys across the student population to understand how they felt about using a campus branded platform to engage with their peers and their institution. Here are some of the results you can expect to learn:

- 83% of students using the app felt that it helped them get off to a good start at university
- 75% of students used the app to inform themselves about campus services
- 95% of students using the app felt that it made them feel a sense of belonging to the University

These are some of the highlights of the survey, download the whitepaper to read more insights and learn how to do this on campus!
